TL;DR: Charles (better known as Chairleg) is a gangster-assassin from Taiwan who also happens to be the wealthy heir to notable businessman Qiaoyu Sun. Though the business itself exists in a legitimate capacity, his true work is rooted in protecting and furthering the interests of the triad society his father built: the Jade Dragons. From a young age, Charles was trained to become the Taiwanese crimescape's deadliest weapon to protect its most powerful triad. As a result, he was discouraged from-- and even punished for-- indulging in all the things that make him human.
